Akshaj Sai Molukutla is a senior in high school who is an environmental advocate with a passion for conservation, preservation, and civil & environmental engineering. His journey began as a sophomore in high school when he took an environmental science course at his local community college and attended an Environmental Engineering Camp. He further pursued his interest through science experiments regarding how cigarette butts affect the nitrate levels in soil and have an effect on plant growth. His interest in working in water conservation grew as an intern at EBMUD and was became hooked on the topic of hydrology, more specifically desalination. With EarthEcho, he is extremely grateful that he can use this platform to protect our bodies of water.

During his free time, he loves to play basketball, lift weights, participate in school clubs, such as Youth & Government, and be active in researching on environmental-related topics.
