My name is Dorlhe Davila Mendoza, and I am youth policy advocate, STEM researcher, engineer, and social entrepreneur whose work bridges public policy, emerging technology, public health, and civic innovation. I am in Southern California with plans to double major in Political Science and Engineering (Mechatronics!). Originally from Mexico, my passion for environmental stewardship has been shaped by my experiences advocating for communities disproportionately affected by pollution and climate change. Outside of school, I enjoy martial arts, robotics, language learning, engineering projects, and researching sustainable technologies. As the founder of several youth-led civic and environmental initiatives, I believe lasting change happens when science, public policy, and community voices come together. I want to become an EarthEcho Water Challenge Ambassador because clean water is fundamental to healthy communities, and I hope to empower more young people to protect local watersheds, advance environmental justice, and turn research into meaningful action that creates a more sustainable future for everyone.
