Hi! My name is Evie Ho, and I'm from Austin, Texas. I've grown up around water since I was a kid---whether it was ocean, lagoons, or rivers, waterways have always been a precious part of my life. After seeing the effects of harmful algal blooms and rising temperatures on my local bodies of freshwater, I wanted to take action on the ways human-induced consequences can be mitigated. As a Water Challenge Ambassador, I'm excited to learn more about water quality and positively contribute to my community.
