My name is Makayla Harmon-McIntosh and I am studying Environmental and Sustainability Studies at Northern Arizona University. I spend most of the year up in Flagstaff but Litchfield Park, Arizona is where I call home. I work in sustainability and water relation conservation across Flagstaff. My goal is to create a future where water is available for all communities and more information about the SouthWest water shortage is understood. My hobbies include crafting, spending time with family, swimming and doing work for my community. I wanted to be a Water Challenge Ambassador because I want to create a shared space where people can learn about water issues. I want to expand my knowledge on environmental communication and really dive into my passion, which is environmental/water policy. Initiatives start with action and action is what I plan on implementing.
