Patricia Block-Sheehan is a sophomore at Staten Island Academy in Staten Island, New York. Patricia is passionate about advocating for legislative protection of water resources, coastline conservation, and environmental education. She is looking forward to inspiring positive environmental change in her community and monitoring water quality on Staten Island and around Fresh Kills park, which, at one point, was the largest landfill in the world. Outside of school, Patricia is an avid swimmer, diver, writer, and calligrapher.
